Virginia Cottage Guest House in Bowness-on-Windermere offers bed and breakfast accommodation in the Lake District

Whatever the season the landscape is beautiful. There are lots of places to visit and the small villages in the surrounding areas are very picturesque.

Our guests are invited to use the facilities at the Old England Spa where there is a swimming pool, sauna, gym and, at an extra charge, a beauty salon. Just ask us for a pass card.

Virginia Cottage can offer accommodation for well behaved dogs of up to medium size.

We require prior notice should you wish to bring your dog with you.

Dogs are not allowed in the breakfast room and we cannot allow them to be left unattended in a room apart from during breakfast since we would be unable to ensure their safe removal from the premises in the event of a fire. We have also found that most dogs tend to get restless when left alone in a new environment and they may cause a disturbance for other guests.
