How to find Virginia Cottage B and B, Bowness on Windermere
Exit from junction 36 on the M6 and follow the signs for Windermere along the A590 and then the A591. At Windermere turn left by the Windermere Hotel, following the sign for ‘Bowness and Lake’. Go through the village and stay on Lake Road until you reach Bowness village. At the mini-roundabout at the bottom of the hill carry straight on, then take the next turn left onto Kendal Road. Virginia Cottage is about 150 metres on the left, just past the Royal Oak Inn.

Terms and Conditions
A deposit of the first night’s accommodation is required at the time of booking, with the balance due upon departure. The deposit will be refunded if at least 7 days notice prior to arrival is given in writing.
A charge in full for any nights not re-let will be made in the event of non-arrival or cancellation or shortening of stay with less than 7 days notice.
If for any unforeseen reason we have to cancel a reservation any payments already received will be refunded in full. We do not accept any liability beyond this.
We are unable to guarantee the allocation of a specific room at the time of booking since we reserve the right to alter room arrangements as it may become necessary but we will accommodate a request if at all possible.
